It is not surprising, therefore, that a study from the University of North Carolina, in the United States, found that people who consumed this food regularly had half the risk of suffering a heart attack than those who did not. The study compared 1,300 Americans and Europeans who had suffered a heart attack with the same number of subjects who had never had it.
